Sarah’s early training was in Asheville, NC, at the Asheville Center of Performing Arts under Nicole Kmezca Hattler. She completed her junior and senior years of high school at North Carolina School of the Arts, where she studied under Warren Conover, Kee-Juan Han and Frank Smith. She performed George Balanchine’s Serenade at the Tribute to Melissa Hayden, performed at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, and in 2005 performed with Ballet Adriatico in Ascoli Piceno, Italy. Sarah attended summer intensives with Miami City Ballet and North Carolina Dance Theatre. Sarah was a trainee with Dance Theatre for the 2007-2008 Season.
