Yoshie started dancing when she was 3 with the Michiko Matsumoto Ballet in Nagoya, Japan. Since then she has danced with Arts Ballet Theatre of Florida, Royal Winnipeg Ballet and Vaganova Ballet Academy in St. Petersburg, Russia. Some of Yoshie’s favorite roles include Fairy Doll, Paquita, Petrouchka, Romeo & Juliet and Spring Waters. Yoshie has won several prestigious dance awards, including the gold medal in the Ballet Competition for Youth in Japan and the silver medal in the All Japan Ballet Union Competition. |
