GET INVOLVED

The Corps de Ballet, Inc. is a non-profit organization that supports North Carolina Dance Theatre. The Corps is comprised of volunteers with different occupations, ages and interests, who all have these things in common – a love of dance, a feeling of satisfaction from being of service to a deserving organization, and a desire to have fun! If you are interested in volunteering with the Corps de Ballet click here.

Opening Night Insiders is the young patrons group of North Carolina Dance Theatre. Opening Night Insiders attend Dance Theatre opening night performances at a subscription rate of $75-$100. Each Opening Night Insider is invited to attend exclusive Sneak Previews and post-performance events with the artists. Click here to become an Opening Night Insider Subscriber or visit them on the web at opening-night.org.

The Parent Guild is comprised of parents whose children are enrolled in North Carolina Dance Theatre School of Dance. All members pay yearly dues and are encouraged to serve on a committee and volunteer for at least one activity during the school year. The Parent Guild supports student activities that augment and enrich the dance experience. Click here to learn more about the Parent Guild.

North Carolina Dance Theatre Docent Program (new this season!)
The word docent is derived from the Latin word docēre, meaning “to teach.”
Ballet docents are trained volunteers who help educate the community-at-large about ballet through educational outreach programs.

North Carolina Dance Theatre docents will receive comprehensive training through Dance Theatre’s education and outreach department in order to further the public’s understanding of NC Dance Theatre, classic and contemporary ballet and NC Dance Theatre’s repertory.
