Sleeping Beauty’s timeless tale of a beautiful princess, a dashing prince and the triumph of good over evil with a single kiss has delighted audiences for years. NC Dance Theatre is thrilled to perform Sleeping Beauty for the first time, with choreography by Jean-Pierre Bonnefoux, gorgeous costumes, magical sets and Tchaikovsky’s unforgettable score. Take your family on a whimsical journey to an enchanted kingdom, as this beloved childhood story is sure to leave audiences of all ages feeling happily ever after.

Sleeping Beauty is part of Ulysses: Charlotte's New Spring Festival of the Arts, a month-long, innovative addition to the rich Carolinas arts landscape. Born of a collaboration between the Charlotte Symphony Orchestra, Opera Carolina and NC Dance Theatre as well as regional cultural partners, Ulysses will unify and celebrate the arts community in an unprecedented fashion.

Subscribers and current ticket holders to performances and events in the Ulysses Festival receive 50% off when purchasing tickets to other festival events. Mint Museum Partnership
Continuing the deepening spirit of collaboration across Charlotte’s arts scene, The Mint Museum and NC Dance Theatre are partnering to offer ticket buyers and Mint members special access to two fairytale-themed works. 

Any ticket buyer who can show a stub or voucher to NC Dance Theatre’s run of Sleeping Beauty from March can receive free admission to the Mint on Saturday, March 10 or Saturday, March 17 (a $10 per person value), following the Mint’s opening of its new Fairytales, Fantasy, & Fear exhibition on March 3. Any member of The Mint Museum qualifies for a 25 percent discount on tickets to Sleeping Beauty.
