New classes offered and prices reduced!
Charlotte, N.C. – North Carolina Dance Theatre School of Dance announces new dance classes and reduced rates for the Teen/Adult Division. With a variety of classes, the Teen/Adult Division offers flexible scheduling and convenient locations in NoDa and Uptown Charlotte.
The Teen/Adult Division allows older teens and adults to take classes in ballet, modern, jazz, Afro-Caribbean, hip-hop and tap. Three new ballet classes have recently been added, including morning classes on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
In addition to new classes, rates for the Teen/Adult Division have been reduced and the option to pay for single classes has been added. Single classes are available for $14 and dance professionals and college students receive a $10 rate. The School of Dance is also extending the $10 rate to all North Carolina Dance Theatre Season Subscribers and also to parents of students studying in the School. Students can save money by purchasing a class card in increments of 5, 10, 15 or 20 classes, ranging from $65 to $200.
“Teen/Adult Division classes are designed to bring out the dancer in everyone,” said Darleen Callaghan, School director. “The new option of taking single classes gives students the opportunity to try several classes and determine the ones right for them.”
A full class schedule for Teen/Adult Division classes is available at ncdance.org. Classes are offered at NC Dance Theatre studios at 622 E. 28th Street, Suite 113 and Spirit Square at 345 North College Street. Students can register for Teen/Adult classes at any time and no registration fee is required. Students may register online at ncdance.org, by calling 704.372.3900 or before any of the classes. The School of Dance also offers classes for children beginning at age 3.
