Music

Kendall is from Waynesville, NC, where he began his ballet training with Marilyn Cloutier at age 9. He also studied with Armando Luna at Atlanta Ballet and performed with Carlos Agudelo at Ballet Spartanburg. At 14 he went to the South Carolina Governor’s School for the Arts and Humanities where he trained with Stanislav Issaev and Robert Barnett. While at Governor’s school, Kendall performed in Concerto Barocco, Don Quixote, Grande Pas de Deux, La Bayadere, Le Corsaire, Tchaikovsky Pas de Deux, Theme and Variations and original modern works. Kendall joined San Francisco Ballet in 2007 and performed in Filling Station, On a Theme of Paganini, Prism and West Side Story Suite. Kendall won the regional Youth America Grand Prix in 2005, Youth America Grand Prix Pas de Deux in 2006 and was an International Finalist in 2006.
