Gregory began his dance training at the Sawnee School of Ballet at age 7, under Joan Kall Stewart. In 2009, he was accepted to the South Carolina Governor’s School for the Arts and Humanities, where he danced for two years under
Stanislav Issaev. He has performed ballets by choreographers Jean-Pierre Bonnefoux, Jiri Bubeníček, Mark Diamond, Sasha Janes, Alonzo King, Dwight Roden, and Twyla Tharp. In 2011, Gregory won 1st place in both classical and
contemporary at Youth American Grand Prix Regionals. In 2013, he performed with NC Dance Theatre at Ballet Across America.
