Early Dance Division (ages 3–8)
Early Dance Division classes meet once per week throughout the school year. Classes conclude with the Early Dance Division Showcase on May 20, 2012.

Children's Division (ages 7–13)
Children’s Division classes conclude with the Children’s Spring Performances on June 9-10, 2012. Students in this division also have the opportunity to audition to perform with North Carolina Dance Theatre in Nutcracker and other full-length ballets such as Sleeping Beauty. |

Intermediate Division (ages 11–18)
Intermediate Division classes conclude with the Festival Spring Performances June 8-9, 2012. Students in this division also have the opportunity to audition to perform with North Carolina Dance Theatre in Nutcracker and other full length ballets such as Sleeping Beauty. Students in the Intermediate Division are eligible to participate in the Student Ensemble performing companies. |

Boys Dance Class (ages 7-10)
Class for young men to explore dance in an all male environment. Stretching, strengthening, muscle coordination and musicality are all emphasized through an introduction to a variety of dance styles. Boys accepted into this program study under full tuition scholarship. Students currently enrolled in the Boys Dance Class may continue in the summer Boys Dance Class at no additional charge. |

Open Division (ages 14-adult)
The School's Open Division includes a variety of dance and dance-based fitness classes. Open Division classes are ideal for beginners, former dancers wanting to return to their passion and those looking to use dance-based fitness as a way to achieve a healthy lifestyle. |

Pre-Professional Division
The Pre-Professional Division is open to students by audition only and offers intensive study in ballet, pointe, male and female variations, pas de deux, men’s technique, modern, and jazz. Students train with some of the dance world’s most renowned instructors such as Patricia McBride, Jean-Pierre Bonnefoux, Dwight Rhoden, Mark Diamond and Kathryn Moriarty. Students have the opportunity to perform with NC Dance Theatre as well as with their own performing company, the North Carolina Dance Theatre Repertory Ensemble, an honor company with RDA/SERBA. |

Summer Intensive
The Summer Intensive program is designed to challenge and encourage the serious dance student. Intermediate and advanced level dancers, ages 11-22, intensively train with superb instructors six days a week at the Patricia McBride & Jean-Pierre Bonnefoux Center for Dance. Students are placed into levels based on ability and age, and classes are offered in three to five week sessions. |

UNC Charlotte Program
North Carolina Dance Theatre School of Dance and the University of North Carolina at Charlotte have an exciting partnership allowing both college and high school students to work towards receiving college credit while training at North Carolina Dance Theatre School of Dance. |
