Benjamin Kay began his training at age 7 in his hometown of Tallahassee, FL, and then danced for 7 seasons with The Tallahassee Ballet under the direction of Rick McCullough. Benjamin has attended many programs on full scholarship, including Orlando Ballet School’s Summer Intensive, American Ballet Theatre’s Orange County, CA, Summer Intensive and Chautauqua Institution School of Dance.   He has received recognition from Jean-Pierre Bonnefoux and Mark Diamond for his choreography, Preludes, which was performed in the Chautauqua Institution’s amphitheater. Benjamin’s repertoire includes Balanchine’s Donizetti Variations, Serenade, Western Symphony and Who Cares?; Fernando Bujones’ Swan Lake (pas de sept); Paquita (pas de trois); and Nutcracker Prince in Nutcracker.
