The School of Dance is now headquartered in the Patricia McBride & Jean-Pierre Bonnefoux Center for Dance located at 701 North Tryon Street in Uptown Charlotte. The Center houses six dance studios, three overlooking North Tryon Street. The increase in the number of studios allows the School to hold additional classes, providing healthy, artistic and fun activities for our community. All studios have state-of-the-art sprung floors, high quality sound systems and pianos, and plenty of natural light. In addition to six dance studios, the Center for Dance includes a costume shop, administrative offices and meeting spaces. Students, professional dancers and faculty have locker rooms, showers, a physical therapy room and dance library. A 200-seat performance venue provides space for student performances, as well as opportunities for students to watch Dance Theatre and other dance companies perform.

Parking
There is meter parking along 10th Street, Tryon Street and Church Street, which is free after 6:00 pm on weekdays and weekends. Parking in Fourth Ward is free for 2 hours anytime of the day.
